Your role

You are highly analytical with strong financial and business acumen. You have an eye for detail and accuracy. Making sense of quantitative data is a real strength and you manage to synthesize complex information into easily understood insights. You will be researching potential targets, complete rigorous financial valuation analysis and coordinating due diligence. You will focus on a very wide range of industries and disciplines.

What you will do:

  • Research and analyze diverse industries and verticals, identifying trends and strategic areas of interest for our business
  • Perform financial analysis, develop pro forma financial models and valuation analysis in support of possible transactions
  • Impact evaluations using leading edge analytics
  • Assessing customer behavior and decision-making to model adoption of a product/service/ technology
  • Developing an economic framework to assess cost-effectiveness
  • Developing technology strategies
  • Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on any industry-related activities
  • Communicate findings to clients through reports and presentations

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Environmental Engineering/Science or other analytic degree
  • Broad financial acumen including a comprehensive understanding of valuation methodologies
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze data and develop robust financial models
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience; including expense, personnel, revenue, capital, and balance sheet planning.
  • 6+ years working in a management consulting role focusing on business innovation
  • 4+ years working with business roadmaps, growth and acquisition plans
  • Exposure to business process mapping and/or re-engineering preferred
  • Experience with M&A preferred

  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative, analytical skills
  • Outstanding analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a transactional environment preferred
  • You are a fluent story teller with the ability to translate data, sentiment and business concepts into a well-articulated and compelling story. Your story can take on many formats and your ability to context shift between verbal, written and visual story telling ensures you’re seen and heard
  • You thrive in the unknown and find extreme comfort in the grey. Failure is an opportunity to grow and push through the boundary
  • Highly developed organizational and time-management skills
  • High degree of self-confidence and determination
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation software

  • Willingness to travel extensively
