What you’ll be doing...

Your top notch IT and Accounting skills will be put to use to ensure complete and accurate accruals and to simplify processes. You will be working on general accounting functions including overseeing the completion of complex analytical assignments and preparation of accounting-related reports and general ledge transactions. Come help us keep our Finance team running better every day.

  • Leading our efforts to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Using your accounting acumen to analyze the output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness and accuracy related to general accounting.
  • Interacting with stakeholders from within and outside of the Accounting organization to respond to inquiries.
  • Leading reviews for accuracy of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
  • Leading accounting projects to ensure compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.
  • Directing efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures and policies for the group; leveraging system and technology knowledge to drive simplification efforts.

You’re diligent, organized, and on top of the details—your projects run like clockwork. You can look at the big picture and see how the pieces fit together. You can oversee multiple initiatives like a conductor leads an orchestra. And you know accounting like the back of your hand.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of FASB and SEC requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, tax reporting and accounting practices.

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • CPA certification (or are in the process of getting certified).
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management
  • Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of accounting systems and applications.
  • Advanced understanding of report query and design.

  • Willingness to travel.
