What you’ll be doing...

In this role, you will provide region wide operations support to multiple areas including: construction, installation and maintenance (FiOS, Core and Special Services), customer operations, Central Office and methods & procedures. The position will also be responsible for the Region’s Installation and Maintenance compliance results and executing corporate initiatives. Identifying I&M trends across the Region’s functional areas. You’ll be part of a team supporting the Northeast Region President and the Director team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, support and implement Installation and Maintenance initiatives and improvement procedures.
  • Communicate and work effectively with internal stakeholders, across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for region Installation and Maintenance compliance.
  • Responsible for region adherence to Verizon Operations initiatives such as CX+, Performance +, etc…
  • Responsible for audits to ensure compliance; creating Business Discussion decks; eTouchPoint and training completions.
  • You’re no stranger to a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines, and you adapt to changing priorities and juggle multiple projects with ease.
  • Travel across the region for in person support, as needed.

You'll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in a staff support role.
  • Knowledge of Wireline Network Operations or Central Office Operations.
  • Great customer and client focus.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Proven experience in process and requirements documentation.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably in field operations.
  • Ability to develop executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams across all levels of the organization to optimize business results.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with people.
  • Experience in data analysis and presentation of data.
  • Experience working with G Suite and MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Articulate concise and effective written and verbal communication skills.
