What you’ll be doing...

In this position you will be the point of contact for the Potomac Engineering team (MD, DC & VA) providing District support and acting as the Subject Matter Expert in a variety of functions. In this pivotal role, you will make a positive impact on our organization and the business by establishing strong partnerships within our Manager teams as well as the other teams across our VP region and cross functional Organizations.

  • Identifying best practices/synergies within current work processes to create efficiencies.
  • Creating opportunities to standardize, centralize, and streamline across the District
  • Reporting and tracking various systems issues, current initiatives, upcoming releases, and roadmaps for systems development.
  • Joining weekly calls with IT and cross organizational teams regarding current systems challenges (CoFEE, iVapp FIM, Vbuild).
  • Partnering with IT to utilize dashboard/tracking monthly AYS ticket volumes/responses for key systems (i.e. CoFEE, Vbuild, LFIM).
  • Communicating status updates to the District.
  • Creating and maintaining a web-based central repository for various reports and metrics.
  • Coordinating with program SMEs to have District weekly/monthly reports stored and updated in one central location.
  • Creating dashboards in a central location for key metrics, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensuring the District is in compliance with mandatory training requests.
  • Canvassing team members to capture specific training needs and to coordinate training sessions with L&D.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Experience working with various data sources (SQL, flat files) as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau.

  • Ability to perform Geospatial analysis (QGIS or ESRI).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong analytical, planning and organization skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
