What you’ll be doing...

We are constantly innovating to unleash the power of our network and technology and you will ensure we stay at the forefront, providing an unequalled customer experience. You will be a key member of the Engineering team focused on the technology evolution of the IEN (Intelligent Edge Network) across our organization. Your role will involve leading the overall design of implementation of next generation capacity planning solutions. Interfacing with many internal and external stockholders, you’ll integrate solutions with all other areas of the organization.

  • Creating next generation capacity planning tools by integrating new on-boarding and collection methods and tying in new and legacy tools to enhance automation.
  • Interfacing with functions within the business including internal and external system architects, product line managers, network operations leads, DevOps leads, and a variety of both business and technical organizations spanning our enterprise.
  • Developing and implementing the Cisco WAE (WAN Automation Engine) software across the (Intelligent Edge Network)

Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you manage competing priorities with ease, and never lose your laser-sharp focus on meeting tight deadlines.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science engineering, or business.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Network device configuration experience in Juniper and Cisco, with NetConf network configuration protocol and YANG data model.
  • CLI configuration experience of Cisco and/or Juniper routers
  • Virtual and Physical Network Functions experience.
  • Software Defined Networking principals and system experience.
  • Wireline network and service experience including Private and Public IP network services, and Switched Ethernet Services.
  • Python, Java scripts, SOAP, Ruby, and PHP programming experience.
  • API development experience based on JSON and XML.
