Responsibilities


ITCPS Project management team is the delivery group and unifying entity that is the primary and single point of contact for coordination, communication and accountability for new projects across all relevant cross functional teams. The team manages multiple Infrastructure server build projects, and to meet the requirements of the business. Responsible for the overall management of projects assigned to them - document the project status regularly using the available project tracking tool\database. Ensure the systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed to ensure monitoring and support of the security standards.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

•Managing Infrastructure Projects for the VZ Cloud Platform services supported Portfolio data centers
•Interface with clients, development teams and executives to plan, track and oversee new projects from inception through implementation
•Lead status meetings with cross functional teams and manage and maintain project plans
•A force multiplier, fostering communications and managing expectations
•Facilitate critical Initiatives including CIO/VP escalated projects, Strategic Initiatives like Tech Refresh, Data center consolidation/Virtualization etc
•Deliver a high level of Customer Service through a positive Customer focused attitude.
•Identify and lead service improvement and cost reduction/efficiency initiatives.
•Need to work only in US timings

Primary Skill Set

•This role requires Good communication, management, documentation, & multi-tasking skills as it involves communication and coordination with various engineering teams in US
•Experience in Project management
•Knowledge in Infrastructure Procurement/Provisioning process  of an Organization
•Knowledge on Agile-Scrum methodologies
