A result oriented Weblogic system admin and DevOps architect with nearly 10-13 years of experience and proven in championing the tools which helps in continuous delivery, collaborate with Architects, developers and QA of a scalable
multi-tenant application using a mix of leading, industry standard, and emerging technologies.
As a Tech manager, the candidate would be primarily responsible to provide functional, technical or process leadership to the team, including architecture, design, development and delivery of linux applications using industry standard processes and tools, drive DevOps transformation within the CMB Portfolio.
The candidate should lead the team in troubleshooting production issues, handling Crisis bridges, sending out effective communication to the executives, Maximize High Availability etc.
The candidate should evangelize cloud infrastructure and support best practices across the organization.


Qualifications –
1.BS/MS in Computer Science (or Equivalent)
2.Looking for candidate with 10 to 13 years hands on experience as a Linux Systems Engineer with expertise in Weblogic, Websphere, MQ, iplanet, jboss and good communication skills.
Atleast 3 years experience leading smaller teams.
3.Good experience and passion on Cloud infrastructure, DevOps tool set.
4.Expertise in AWS, Public Cloud Platforms. AWS Certified candidates will be given priority.
5.Knowledge of ITIL and should be able apply them to the current project.

Primary skillset:

1. Expertise on DevOps tools/technologies like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, STASH, Puppet, Docker, Selenium etc. to facilitate big-picture projects, coordinating activity across a large number of teams.
2. Experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo, CruiseControl or TeamCity.
3. Knowledge and experience of testing frameworks like Junit, NUnit, Jasmine, Karma, TestNG and Spock.
4. Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (eg : Amazon AWS etc)
6. Experience in building high-performance infrastructures that are scalable and resilient
7. 8+ years of Linux system administration experience with hands on experience in Weblogic preferred.
8. Experience in Load Balancers: Nginx, HAProxy, F5
9. Knowledge of Virtualization technologies like ESXi, VSphere, kvm, Docker
11.Experience with automation/configuration management using Chef, Ansible, Puppet or an equivalent
12. Expected to have coding/scripting skills (Python/Perl and Shell Scripting)
13. Experience with Log Management tools like ELK, Graylog2, Fluentd,etc
14. Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios, AppDynamics, Graphite, Wily
15. Working experience on Application Servers like Jboss/WildFly/Weblogic.
16. Strong delivery management skills in Application Development and should have the ability to work with teams across multiple horizontals
17. Knowledge of Agile Development, continuous integration and automation testing.

Responsibilities –

•Design systems and services in Cloud platform to enable scalability, resiliency and performance.
•Support development team and the business to adopt best technology solutions from scratch or re-architect existing solutions
•Evaluate industry tools and provide path, guidance for the development and support teams to implement the tools for the business benefit
•Excellent technical skills and knowledge coupled with strong leadership, planning, and management capabilities. The ideal candidate will be very data driven and excel at using metrics and monitoring to measure and improve the operational processes and performance of the cloud platform.
•Provide new ideas to enable automation of various processes in the teams. Apply unique technical/industry expertise and analyze the latest tools used in the industry.
•Work collaboratively with software engineering teams to identify opportunities of process improvements.
•Need to work in initiatives which span across multiple functions.
Constantly look out for inefficiencies and eliminate them, thereby improving the productivity. Especially, target the L1 activities and eliminate them by automation and should have strong testing skills.
•Guide teams to analyze, plan and execute towards moving the applications to Cloud.
•Collaborate with external teams within the CMB portfolio, cross functional stakeholders in development, QA, product management and program management office
Evaluate products, run PoCs, and pilots working; develop and recommend tools strategy and gain acceptance from senior stakeholders
Focuses externally to understand trends related to customers, competitor’s products and services, the market, and other groups
•Good business acumen, including superior written and verbal communication skill, presentation skills and organizational abilities
•Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, corrective actions, and re-validations.
•Must be updated on latest automation techniques/tools, Agile/Scrum/DevOps Process testing methodologies and make recommendations on future direction for quality as well as apply latest techniques
•Should be at-ease in interacting with people across hierarchical levels and remain perfect liaison between management & Team members and to ensure smooth project/program execution
•Hands on experience in Talent acquisition, Training, Workforce planning, Performance management, Merit/Salary review, Career development, Succession planning & Change Management
•Strong people management & interpersonal skills including mentoring / molding, motivational and influencing skills that help ensuring open, transparent and performance driven culture
