Responsibilities

The OSM Developer is responsible for the development of the technical solution and code review to ensure best practices have been followed and verify that the unit test results are accurate.  They must coordinate integration testing with all interfacing systems and ensure that all defects are resolved. They are responsible to resolve all OSM defects while supporting  QA and  UAT testing in the domestic and international envirnoments.  They are resposible for  supporting the ITSM and Application Support teams, as needed in both the domestic andinternational envirnoments.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Solution Architects and System Analysts to understand the System requirements and determine the appropriate solution.  Provide estimates for the design and development phases for the same.
  • Support the coordination of integration testing between Middleware and the other impacted systems (e.g., Web, Siebel, BRM, Legacy Systems).  Ensure any/all issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support the QA and UAT teams in their validation of the business/functional requirements and work through any/all issues that are identified during system testing.  Troubleshoot basic network problems.  Monitor and evaluate system performance, whenever possible.
  • Ensure that all appropriate technical and functional documentation is prepared.  Create all required release documentation and submit deployment ticket requests. 
  • Coordinate with the Middleware Admin Team during code deployments.
  • Participate in troubleshooting efforts led by the Production Support teams. Collaborate with the other impacted development teams to determine the root cause and appropriate resolution.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle AIA PIPS
  • Experience with Oracle OSM 7.0+
  • Experience with Transformations (XSLT/XQUERY)
  • Experience with SQL, Stored procs

Basic Qualifications:

  • OSM Development Experience
  • Experience in designing and implementing large scale order management solutions
  • Experience with OSM (version 7.0 or higher), with special focus on Order Lifecycle Management (OLM) and Order Fallout Management (OFM)
  • Experience with the Order to Activate (O2A), Order to Bill (O2B), and/or Order to Cash (O2C) PIPs
  • Experience with  Rapid Offer Design & Order Delivery Solution (RODOD)
  • Experience with Oracle OSM configuration, workflow modeling, data dictionary, order modeling, process/task mapping, and cartridge implementation
  • Experience with first-time implementations of OSM into an existing large-scale Middleware solution
  • Experience with version control tools
  • Experience with appropriate programming languages and tools (e.g., Weblogic, Java/J2EE, PL/SQL, and OSM Design Studio Eclipse)
  • Experience in implementing large scale OSM applications
  • Experience with AIA PIPs, AIA Concept, AIA Foundation Pack
  • Experience with Web Service and XML technologies, such as WSDL, SOAP, XSLT, XQuery, XSD, XPath
  • Experience with Messaging, such as Java Messaging Service (JMS)
  • Experience with version control tools like SVN
  • Experience with appropriate programming languages and tools (e.g., Java and PL/SQL)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Support all Production deployments, both domestic and international.  Assist the Production Support Team with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on issues that are escalated beyond Level 1 and Level 2 support and work them through to resolution.  Respond to Production Support requests within an hour, regardless of when the call comes in (to include off-hours and weekends).

Education:

B.S. or B.A required, preferred in Computer Science or related field
