What you’ll be doing...
The Global Network Management – Virtual Engineering Network Management (VENM) in Verizon manages business critical VoLTE and IMS platforms that provide 3G, 4G, and 5G services to Verizon customers.
You will function as lead development and operations engineering managing the Ribbon MRFC/MRFP Transcoder (MRFC/P) Virtual Network Functions (VNF). You will lead multiple medium to large-scale strategic projects and provide guidance to cross organizational staff and technology manufactures. You will be responsible for performing root-cause-analysis and resolution for all issues with the production MRFC/MRFP platforms. You are expected to participate in budget planning, take action on purchase orders, develop deployment plans, track milestones and ensure timely receipt of budget commitments. The majority of the work will be performed during the day. There will be projects that require work to be performed during the maintenance window. Flexibility in scheduling is a requirement.
