What you’ll be doing...

You’ll support all stages of the product development lifecycle for releases on to our distributed cloud platform. This enables our customers to store and instantly access their information wherever they are in the world. You’ll work with a multi-functional management team to translate their needs into clear, maintainable code. Customer feedback will allow you to decide which new features to incorporate and how to build them. Your work will make sure our cloud storage platform continues to delight our customers.

• Participating in all phases of the product development lifecycle.
• Validating architecture and design concepts through the development of prototypes and providing example implementation.
• Participating in agile software development and code reviews with other engineers.
• Conducting unit and performance tests on software under load to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and solving complex problems.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience of writing code in Java, Python, or NodeJS.
• Knowledge of web services, HTTP/HTTPs and RESTful.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Data, Spring Integration, Spring Drools, Spring Data-RS, Hibernate/iBatis framework.
• Knowledge of domain orchestration, configuration, deployment management, and provisioning functions for large enterprises, or service providers.
• Experience with database programming.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms.
