What you’ll be doing...

You will be working in Verizon Business Group’s digital product team working in the ecommerce team. The Product Manager, My Verizon Business App, is responsible for planning and executing projects that drive sales and adoption for the Mobile App. This would involve developing a deep understanding of the customers and how they use the mobile app. The product manager would create a vision for the app, implement the developed roadmap and report on the key metrics for the mobile app’s success.

The primary accountabilities associated with this role include:

  • Manage My Verizon for Business Mobile App.
  • Develop ideas to drive more adoption and sales through the mobile app.
  • Overall analytics and insights for mobile app and web portals.
  • Work with stake holders to develop overall roadmap for the mobile app.
  • Report weekly on progress made with leadership and stake holders to drive consensus.
  • Understanding and anticipating market needs.
  • Defining requirements and leading the team through design and development.
  • Building the business case, getting internal consensus, and defining product roadmaps.
  • Forging strong relationships across the organization to get it all done.
  • Tracking success metrics and communicating results to management.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing mobile apps.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing or communications.
  • Very strong organizational skills, ability to create structure and projects from key insights.
  • Experience with Adobe analytics, SQL and/or tools like Glassbox.
  • Ecommerce experience.
  • Ability to present to senior leadership team status and reporting in simple and clear presentations.
  • Ability to understand and grasp data insights and develop plans for improvement.
  • Ability to work with different stake holders to implement web portal projects and bring the same experience into mobile app.
  • UX experience, ability to pick a better design from good design.
  • Five or more years’ experience with launching mobile apps.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Experience analyzing data and sharing marketing insights and recommendations (ideally, presented to audiences of different levels and functions).
  • Experience managing complex projects with shifting priorities, demands, and stakeholders (ideally, with cross-functional teams and agencies).
  • Direct marketing, digital media/marketing, and local engagement experience.
