What you’ll be doing...

This is a unique opportunity to provide leadership as part of a truly US-wide professional services practice, with the scope for career development limited only by personal dedication and drive. Thinking out of the box and providing new capabilities to disrupt the status quo will be pivotal for this role. You will be responsible for driving practice P&L and related governance activities.

You will be seen by your clients as an ambassador for Verizon. You will be given the opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of large international clients and work with some of the best in the business. You’ll build team momentum, chart their growth plans and bring a cohesive culture of inclusiveness. You will also have hiring responsibilities as well managing the existing team talent.

  • Manage your account portfolio as your own business with focus on revenue growth and providing leadership on the value proposition of Verizon Security services.
  • Work directly with the Verizon sales teams to identify and refine end-client business requirements and associated security services solutions.
  • Take a leading role in the definition, scope, approach, planning and estimating of large PSS security opportunities.
  • Support and actively participate in the business development of the PSS practice by identifying additional business opportunities within the current client base.
  • Provide high-level and informed business consulting with an emphasis on demonstrating the value and role of PSS in large businesses.
  • Manage pre-sales activities in a timely and efficient manner following the agreed business practices using the applicable tools.
  • Drive upsell and growth of Cyber defense consulting services.

Where you'll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You will be a self-starter who would make this role your own, providing leadership and taking responsibility for further developing security consulting related service offerings. As a self-motivated, client-facing professional who is comfortable in delivering clear and concise information at both technical and management level, you will be adaptable and flexible in your work with a positive attitude.

The position requires strong interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to effectively identify business issues and propose compelling solutions from technical to Director-level clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for understanding the landscape and business context in which security cyber defense services are utilized and have a mature understanding of cloud technologies and adoption. You’ll have the ability to guide teams on where they need help and working collaboratively to get things moving and have business financial acumen to make right decisions and to navigate the business in right direction.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience related to Cyber Defense engagements or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • At least one maintained industry certification (e.g., CISSP).
  • Willingness to travel in the US to customer locations.
  • Knowledge of cyber defense security business and relevance to technologies and frameworks like Cloud Security, Zero Trust, and Security edge.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Degree in IT or similar.
  • Advanced architectural experience, including a solution engineering background.
  • Experience in a consultancy environment in past experience or specific vertical knowledge.
  • Excellent report writing skills and ability to clearly articulate technical risk, coupled with an acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to focus on deal optimization and costs.
  • Risk Management in terms of deal organics and someone who can pull the costs together as regional SME.
  • Strong work ethic, articulate with good communication skills and passionate leader who can challenge team and believes in shared success.
  • Good presentation and communication skills and ability to translate cyber security to a business view C-level.
