What you’ll be doing...

The PremiSys CPE Catalog Product Manager will manage a team of professional contractors who support the daily needs of Verizon Sales, Marketing, Quoting and Ordering teams in their need for CPE parts to be available to quote and order through the PremiSys catalog. This responsibility is applicable to both commercial and government sales and sales support teams. This role will also require maintaining working relationships with Verizon’s critical OEM partners to ensure a cooperative effort with our business partners in ensuring Verizon’s resale CPE success.

  • Hire and manage a rotating staff of contractors who manage the PremiSys CPE catalog and its’ role in maintaining CPE pricing, parts availability, and OEM’s for resale CPE and services -quoting and ordering.
  • Conduct frequent training sessions and ensure the PremiSys team functions as a unit/can back each other up and that the team communicates the same/consistent messaging to our customers in response to any/all catalog support requests supported.
  • Gather and submit for IT development, any matters that require system or process improvement to reduce or eliminate quote and order processing intervals and errors.
  • Manage and care for parts enablement requirements for legacy and federal requests.
  • Support and efficiently manage escalations, ensuring proper focus of priorities by the catalog team, implementing on-demand adjustments to provide the right focus and communicating status of reprioritized efforts to impacted stakeholders.
  • Prepare Operations Review material, to include establishment of and running of data gathering reports.
  • Establish, run and/or revise existing PremiSys reports required to support any related data reporting requirements, or work with applicable IT resources to provide.
  • For any IT facing (bug or system issue related) issues, generate and submit required AYS tickets for IT or Tier 2 support required.
  • As needed, support off hours/overtime/end of month quote support requirements.
  • Review and support Contract Option Table related adjustment requests from the team or users.
  • Support requests for new OEM establishment – reject, redirect, or manage the full implementation of new OEM requests for the PremiSys CPE catalog.
  • Collaborate with Verizon Product teams product roadmap, feature enhancements and if applicable, IT requirements.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of the resale CPE market, Verizon wireline products, and OEM technologies, customer needs and how the PremiSys catalog supports all of these elements.
  • Experience as CPE process/catalog product manager, or hardware/software product manager.
  • Experience of sales and product management experience is preferred.
  • The ability to identify opportunities for improvement/automation in response to issues that introduce delay and complexity, and convert to system improvement requests for IT or process teams to act on
  • The ability to manage a variety of issues through to rapid resolution while communicating status and the The ability to provide accurate expectations regarding a resolution to our customers.
  • The ability to demonstrate strong business and technical writing skills, coupled with strong presentation skills
  • Well-developed teamwork, collaboration and program management skills. Customer experience and market demand focus
  • The ability to incorporate customer input, understand the end-to-end customer journey and business goals, and how our partners and competitors play in this space.
