What you’ll be doing...

This an exciting and critical strategic role under our Verizon Connect business team to help us on our continued success and growth within the ANZ region. We provide a unique, high quality sales training program based on a consultative sales approach, and we are committed to supporting you to achieve your goals. If you want to get into the world of sales and build a successful career, we’ll provide the training, all you need is the right attitude.

On this Business Development role you will be calling both inbound inquiries and cold leads with a view to converting them to opportunities to see a demonstration of our platform. This is done by asking qualifying questions, discovering pain points and managing those warmer leads to turn them into a qualified appointment that can sell as quickly as possible.

  • Working from existing leads to build and grow your business.
  • Working with our talented marketing team to build your own campaigns.
  • Performing solution-based selling.
  • Running your own desk and reaping the rewards.
  • Developing new businesses by consulting small-to-medium sized business owners.
  • Working closely with senior sales executives and assisting them in closing opportunities via web demonstration.
  • Solving the challenges of business owners and providing the benefits of solutions created.

Where you’ll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capability to be a self-learner.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills.
  • Prior sales/industry experience /industry experience.
  • Experience in sales office application Salesforce and Xant.
