What you’ll be doing...

As a junior member of the Tracfone Information Technology Tools team, you will be learning from the senior members and working closely with various Information Technology and Business teams to manage various Information Technology Tools and applications. The Tracfone Information Technology Tools team owns the tools portfolio and is responsible for user and system administration of various tools. Some tools have different system or user administrators, but all fall under Information Technology Tools portfolio. Information Technology Tools makes the ultimate determination as to whether the Tool serves the intended purpose. As a member of the team you will;

  • Perform daily tasks such as user and role based management.
  • Be responsible for working on various projects.
  • Attend meetings, collaborate with the team(s) and cross-functionally and provide feedback.
  • Manage tickets, applying application level security patches, fixes, troubleshooting, fixing tools and application issues.
  • You will be responsible to learn and improve the process by adding and contributing to problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Interact with clients and provide excellent service to the Information Technology and Business groups.

Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience with TracFone systems or processes.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical certifications.
  • One or more years of experience in application support or systems administration.
  • Configuration management experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of Windows and Linux based operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Dynatrace).
