What you’ll be doing...

As an Enterprise Sales Manager at Verizon’s New Business Incubation (NBI), you will be responsible for winning, keeping and growing customers in an emerging market leveraging NBI's cutting edge product and solutions portfolio. Our products leverage Verizon’s 5G network and Intelligent Edge Network (Mobile Edge Compute) to power orchestration for a broad spectrum of Industry 4.0, including autonomous mobile robots, IoT, and office work-tech solutions. This position plays a vital role in establishing, qualifying, and supporting direct customers as well as Verizon Business Group as a channel for NBI’s products and solutions in order to expand our market footprint. You’re a driven self-starter with a high level of personal integrity, who can collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and qualifying a combination of outbound and inbound leads.
  • Driving revenue by managing the sales of complex enterprise SaaS software and hardware solutions to strategic accounts.
  • Owning the sales cycle from lead through negotiation and close.
  • Maintaining a consistent pipeline, forecasting and sales cycle management.
  • Helping customers navigate emerging technologies and the business value they will deliver for their use cases.
  • Communicating complex ideas and solutions to all levels of an organization.
  • Identifying customer-solution fit, aligning customers needs to solution outcomes.
  • Developing multi-dimensional proposals and quotes as well as responding to RFx.
  • Performing customer-focused product demos using web tools and in-person to prospects and customers.
  • Teaming with Solution Architects, Delivery and Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Working cross-team to develop complex solutions that deliver customer value.
  • Negotiating agreements with business stakeholders, procurement, senior management, and C-level executives.
  • Leading and maintaining the channel relationship, driving partner opportunities and revenue generation with Verizon Business Group’s sales teams.
  • Providing input to Marketing, Product and leadership on market and customer trends.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience selling complex solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Sales experience in SaaS and multi-product environments.
  • Experience in emerging technology markets.
  • Experience in exceeding sales plans.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of the time.
  • Experience presenting to senior managers and the C-suite.
  • Experience in one or more of the areas of production, transportation, logistics or facility management
  • Experience in salesforce pipeline management.
  • For the position in Germany - Fluency in English and German (spoken and written).

Even better if you have one or more or the following:

  • Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Experience identifying, documenting and articulating the business and technical requirements of a prospective customer during the full sales cycle – qualification, proposal, and post-sale transition.
  • Experience working with internal channels at large tech companies, including managing legal and administrative issues.
  • Communication skills and ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Ability to foster relationships both internally and externally at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Creative and customer-oriented problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
