What you’ll be doing...

The Enterprise Architecture (EA) group is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join its EA governance team. You will be a key participant in the governance of all aspects of architecture as applications in the different portfolio transition through the various phases of the architecture lifecycle.

• Assisting in the analysis of the enterprise governance practice model in support of solutions design and implementation and work to align and standardize processes.
• Creating and documenting reference architectures, transitional architectures, and best practices.
• Partnering with the application team to implement solutions for transitional architectures.
• Developing production-ready implementation for newly introduced design patterns to be used as reference by application development teams.
• Operating as an advisor to influence and lead software design and implementation.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with microservice development.
• Experience in software application development.
• Experience with Node JS.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Webflux.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A master’s degree.
• Knowledge of database technologies and working knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to write well-designed quality code.
• Knowledge of cloud environments.
• Experience with ReactJS to create rich user interfaces.
• Experience with Docker and Container technologies (Preferably Kubernetes).
• Experience with AWS and Server-less technologies (AWS certification).
• Strong communication skills.
