In this role, you’ll support mission and business critical applications within Verizon Business group covering Production support and maintenance across wireless applications.

  • Ensuring availability and reliability of the customer facing digital applications.
  • Understanding the Business flows in Digital applications.
  • Using professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and practical ways.
  • Involving in Critical Production issues troubleshooting and resolution and work closely with Development & QA teams for better quality of deliverables.
  • Receiving general guidance for the accomplishment of short to medium term goals and operating objectives.
  • Identifying proactive monitoring opportunities to ensure availability of applications.
  • Learning and supporting applications developed with multiple technologies (e.g., Full Stack developer).

Where you’ll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in JAVA/J2EE, Spring boot, Microservices and REST API.
  • Experience in UI Technologies like React JS/JavaScript/JSP/Canvas, Databases technologies: Oracle/MySQL etc.
  • Experience in DevOps technologies like Gitlab/Jenkins/Sonar.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Bachelors in Engineering with one or more years of application development experience.
  • Experience in cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, code coverage tools Sonar.
  • Experience in security tools like Fortify, black duck, DevOps/CICD model.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies & usage of Scrum Tools: JIRA, Jenkins, GitLab etc.
  • Ability to learn and grow at the speed of technology.
