What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) is responsible for strategy and implementation of systems solutions that support ERP (Enterprise Resource Platform) activity for Verizon Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, HR and Payroll. As a Senior Manager - SAP Functional for supply chain, you will partner with business stakeholders, development managers to develop and execute the product road map for network supply chain. You will lead a team responsible for the design and delivery of large-scale, complex ERP programs with a significant impact on Verizon. This role will specifically focus on the Enterprise Asset Management, Supply Chain processes in the areas of SAP EAM, Inventory Management, and Procurement with complex integration to key Verizon Network systems. This role will also work closely with senior leadership and peers across Verizon’s Global Technology Services (GTS) and the Global Supply Chain business (GSC) organization.

  • Leading medium and large SAP projects, executing all approved deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Developing the technology product roadmap which supports the business strategies such as 1ERP, and other strategic transformation programs to drive cutting-edge experiences, revenue growth, and cost optimization.
  • Building a strong data and analytics framework to track KPIs, Operational Metrics and other critical data sets to ensure process transparency and SC network visibility.
  • Leading client requirements gathering and market research to develop industry leading technology roadmaps with an aligned multi-year investment portfolio.
  • Leadership in functional design, implementation, and support of the end-to-end ERP application in the areas of Procurement-To-Pay and Inventory Management.
  • Usinga flexible and collaborative work approach to solve complex problems and to develop customer specific solutions - taking into account multiple internal and external stakeholder groups and different level of stakeholder groups (e.g. Top-Management) with various/changing stakeholder demands/requirements and intersections (e.g. IT, Finance, AP, SC, Top-management level etc.)

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • BA/BS degree with concentration in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems.
  • Functional proficiency with full lifecycle SAP and/or ERP implementations.
  • 6+ years of directly related experience with a strong design background in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Enterprise Asset Management(EAM).
  • Experience in Functional proficiency with full lifecycle SAP and/or ERP implementations.
  • Implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA landscape for Cross company logistics movements, Purchasing, Inventory Management for serialized Products, Vendor Returns, Inter/ Intra Stock transport Order with delivery, Billing, SAP S/4HANA Integration with 3PL for inbound / outbound logistics goods movements for fulfillment and warehousing operations.
  • Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced changing environment with good time-management skills and the ability to manage teams independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver across levels.
  • Demonstrated highly developed team leadership skills and the ability to manage internal / external resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty.
  • Experience in executive communication including presentation preparation and delivery.
  • Agile delivery expertise in an ERP landscape.
  • Experiencing managing across multiple time zones.
  • Telecommunications experience.
  • SAP Supply Chain technical and functional architecture and data modeling skills along with new and emerging SAP capabilities.
  • Formal training and/or certifications in the SAP product family.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple cross divisional work process and projects.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and mentorstaff.
  • Previous people management or supervisory experience.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a California work location, the compensation range for this position is between $126,000 and $234,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
