What you’ll be doing...

As a Learning and Development Consultant supporting the Strategic Partnership Channel (SPC) you will be supporting the customer experience training for partner center sites within the Consumer Mobile and Fios telecommunications. This means maintaining key partnerships within the partners, while also preparing and leading training including train-the-trainer sessions and certifications. You’ll be responsible for delivering advanced customer service skills, products, data, leadership, managerial initial training, and cross-functional training sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining key relationships with the partners’ training teams and Verizon operation teams to maintain curriculum delivery standards and continuous training improvement and program effectiveness.
  • Responding to and providing best practices appropriately to learner needs and providing recommendations to our strategic partners (e.g., clarification, examples, feedback).
  • Observing classrooms in-person and virtually to ensure environments are conducive to learning (e.g., balance co-employment guidelines with our partners by delivering recommendations and suggestions based on observations to leadership).
  • Conducting Trainer and Lead Trainer observations to provide coaching and feedback to leadership and the national curriculum development team.
  • Conducting training including Train the Trainer sessions, New Hire Training and Trainer Certifications.
  • Using adult learning training methodology, trainer materials, and effective presentation skills.
  • Establishing and maintaining expertise in subjects taught.
  • Identifying alternate solutions and learning when delivery challenges arise (e.g., materials, content, room set-up).
  • Partnering with management and contributing to project teams.
  • Partnering with national curriculum development teams on curriculum development and project support (e.g., curriculum review, certifications, testing and revisions).
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training conducted by obtaining class feedback and follow-up surveys.
  • Managing expense reports, timesheet, trainer scheduling, planning and other monthly tracking reports.

Where you’ll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

Applicants will report to Torre Esmeralda 1 Blvd. M A Camacho 40, 14 floor Col. Lomas de Chapultepec 11000 México, CDMX. México and will visit multiple partner sites throughout LATM and internationally.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Adult facilitation experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 75% of the time.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Experience facilitating professional training.
  • Experience facilitating training virtually.
  • Experience in Leading Training Certifications.
  • Experience with technical, soft skills, and development training.
  • Knowledge of how to utilize training materials including leader guides and participant material.
  • Experience in handling projects effectively balancing timeliness and quality.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and circumstances.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision while contributing to overall team success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Call center experience.
  • Leadership/management experience.
  • Experience with project management.

Home office and virtual office Requirements:

  • Internet service with a direct connection to a cable or fiber modem capable of at least 25mbps.
  • The ability to self-manage in a remote work environment and effective management of your home network and connections.
  • Applicant must have internet access at home to complete obligations.
