What you’ll be doing...

This role will aim to provide advanced customer service and technical support to end-users for hardware and software. You will analyze, research, and resolve complex end-user escalation incidents or issues and troubleshooting from other IT support staff; escalate as necessary. This position will install, configure, and test installed hardware and software on new or existing devices, in accordance with standard procedures.

  • Setting up new equipment and devices; set up and maintain workstations; provide appropriate access to applications, systems, and data.
  • Guiding and explaining policies and procedures to IT support staff and end-users.
  • Communicating and translating technical information to nontechnical end users; maintain communication and monitor incident through resolution.
  • Maintaining, implementing and troubleshooting end-user support for applications, mobile devices, and servers.
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining documentation to ensure internal processes and procedures, workflows, and training manuals are current.
  • Reviewing and evaluating new hardware and software products; recommend the implementation of new products.
  • Creating, tracking, and maintaining reports and provide updates to management.
  • Assisting in tracking and maintaining hardware and software inventory. Onboarding and offboarding of the Verizon employees.

Where you'll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of macOS, Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of script automation with at least one of these technologies: PowerShell, Bash or Python.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve problems using systematic troubleshooting, web KB searches and consultation with other members of the IT team.

Compensation

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $65,000 and $121,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
