What you’ll be doing...

As a foundational member of Verizon’s in-house digital marketing center of excellence, you will be responsible for programmatic media execution and optimization across all inventory types to achieve brand and business objectives. You will oversee cross-channel media planning on programmatic platforms across select units within Verizon Business Group. With your expert knowledge of the tech landscape and the evolution of programmatic buying, you will keep internal leadership, media and ad teams educated on emerging technologies. Additionally, you will support Yahoo's product team on their roadmap to drive differentiation for our owned technology in a highly competitive landscape.

  • Developing and executing bold, innovative campaigns in conjunction with Verizon’s creative marketing team.
  • Partnering with Yahoo on driving the product roadmap and expanding their programmatic capabilities into the broader marketplace.
  • Partnering with other media leaders (Consumer, Brand, Business, Search, Social, and Analytics) to support the execution of the newly developed Digital COE.
  • Supporting efforts across partner units within Verizon (Operations, Experience, Technology, and CRM) to create improved digital experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Keeping internal teams educated on the evolution of programmatic technology, what’s leading in the marketplace and what tech can be utilized.

Where you'll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

This role may be considered as part of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in marketing.
  • Experience in programmatic media.
  • Marketer/agency/consultative services, experience in programmatic media strategy and investment.
  • Experience in managing all self-serve programmatic channels (display, video, social, dOOH, audio, native).
  • Experience in primary buying platforms and formats (Google, Amazon AAP, VMG, Trade Desk).
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders, and influence across divisions, departments, and teams.
  • Experience in data-driven targeting and reach strategy.
  • Experience in programmatic buying within Agency Trade Desks, Management Consultancies, or brands with in-house programmatic capabilities.
  • Knowledge of advertising channels across TV, audio, OOH, Display (desktop, mobile), Digital Video, Social Media, various buying methodologies (CPM, CPC, CPA), etc.
  • Knowledge of the evolution of programmatic media; how video, social, display, native, branded content became purchasable programmatically.
  • Experience in making recommendations regarding tech adoption, based on thorough awareness of the current and emerging programmatic tech landscape.
  • Experience in building and executing programmatic buying strategy.
  • Experience in applying data to get the most out of programmatic buys.
  • Experience in leading data-driven media technology (Liveramp, Adobe AAM, Epsilon, Acxiom).
  • Experience with ad verification and brand safety tools (IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat).

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a New York work location, the compensation range for this position is between $89,000 and $166,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
