What you’ll be doing...

You are someone who does not hesitate to dive in head-first into apparently insurmountable problems. You are obsessed with achieving the highest levels of Reliability, Efficiency and Automation. You gleefully jump in to explore and adopt the latest technologies and tools to figure out how you can exploit them to their fullest potential. You communicate your ideas, plans and requirements clearly and persuasively to all levels of the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the application stability, reliability, availability and performance.

  • Understanding the Business requirements, design a performance improvement solution and work with different functional teams to deliver the solution.
  • Deploying, configuring and using Application, Infrastructure and Log monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Catchpoint, ELK, Google Lighthouse etc.
  • Using professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and practical ways.
  • Ensuring quality delivery of the code to QA, UAT and prod environments with complete ownership.
  • Working towards improving application availability, reliability and stability.
  • Leading the team in creating, tracking, driving and delivering solutions to improve application reliability and availability and also in optimizing brilliant self-healing SRE solutions for production support.

Where you’ll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Java, Microservices, Angular or React JS.
  • Experience in SQL and Query Tuning activities.
  • Experience in any application/log/infra monitoring/alerting tools like New Relic, Catchpoint, ELK, Splunk, Google Lighthouse etc.
  • Experience in Auto-Healing tools like Moog soft, AIOps and other monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Big Panda.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Experience in one or many of the tools: Moogsoft, Dynatreace, BigPanda, AIOps.
  • Experience in configuring Newrelic like alerting tools with Slack / Gmail / SMS.
  • Two or more years of experience in working on websites across multiple browsers and mobile app.
  • Experience in managing relationships with good inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Good collaborative skills with various stakeholders and bring in best practices.
  • Experience in working in CICD model.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies & usage of Scrum Tools: JIRA, Jenkins, GitLab etc.
  • Experience in monitoring and detect items that could create potential damage and address them even before the damage is done.
