Responsibilities
Provides complex financial analysis (capital and expense) across multiple projects.
Manage the monthly vs. Actual reporting of Network’s financials which includes, prepare, analyze and consolidate Network Area and HQ financials. Document and articulate key drivers and variances compared to Network’s overall financial plan (monthly and YTD) and report to senior management. Lead meetings with all levels of Network personnel to provide direction for decision-making. Create presentations for senior management and show trends, comparisons and overall tracking of Network financial performance
Manage the Expense and Capital Budgeting and Forecasting process, which includes, develop annual budget templates for the Network Areas/Regions and HQ. This includes creating and designing the budget templates used to distribute Network targets. Manage and Coordinate the distribution and collection of all submissions. Prepare, analyze and consolidate the budgets for an overall rollup for Network. Create complex forecasting models to project and ensure appropriate budgets are allocated to the Network areas. Provide forecasts for items ranging from long distance and direct telecom usage/expense, as well as other usage/expense forecasts within the Network department. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business MBA Preferred
Minimum of 5 years wireless industry experience Bachelors degree
Strong Project Management experience
Strong knowledge of fixed assets, retirement, depreciation and general accounting
Strong problem solving skills
Expert knowledge of GAAP and principles of general financial analysis
Proven time and project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word)
Proficient in Fixed Asset Modules
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Responsible for communicating effectively at all levels
Individual contributor who utilizes discretion and independent judgment in the completion of tasks; leads small functional groups (typically 5 to 15 employees). Highly autonomous.
