What you’ll be doing...

This position includes project management and operational elements. The Manager will lead the Process Engineering and Optimization efforts which support the Finished Goods and Accessory Operations. This individual will lead the implementation efforts of strategic projects and will be responsible to drive cost out of the operation. The Manager will be needed to develop innovation, evaluating systems, tools, and processes, to optimize the operation and continue to drive additional benefit to the business. The selected candidate will drive the strategy for the operation and develop standards which can be used in other areas of the business. Additionally, the person will lead project teams responsible for strategic changes to the operation which will span several business units working closely with several cross functional teams including but not limited to Device Quality and Repair, Monetization, Inventory Planning, Device Marketing, Business Transformation, and our 3PL to ensure proper implementation of programs and initiatives.

This position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the Wireless industry in areas such as repair, supply chain operations, device quality, inventory management and metrics and process development. The position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking with the ability to be self-directed, and to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment where requirements and constraints may evolve frequently.

Additional Requirements and Duties include:

  • Create a Change Management System using Atlassian Jira/Bamboo
  • Accepts, prioritizes, and categorizes change requests
  • Chairs the Change Advisory Board 9CAB) and Emergency Change Advisory Board 9ECAB) meetings
  • Ensures that all preparations have been made for a CAB meetings including creating of the agenda, circulation of change requests to be considered and inviting participants
  • Utilizes the Change Management reporting system to monitor and track changes
  • Identifies change request that have not been acted upon in a timely manner and takes appropriate action
  • Ensures that changes are communicated in a timely manner
  • Reviews all implemented changes to ensure that have been carried out
  • Close change requests
  • Expert in process mapping and value stream analysis
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Belt preferred
  • Control and leads process improvements

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or similar statistical and quality experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering and/or Operations related field.
  • MBA or experience that requires strong financial and business acumen.
  • Six or more years of wireless industry knowledge, specifically Returns Processing and/or Service and Repair
  • Ability to negotiate business and technical terms, as well as KPIs and SLAs.
  • Experience in process mapping and value stream analysis
  • Capability to be an effective communicator with the ability to clearly articulate a vision to a broad range of audiences.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent forward thinking and analytical skills.
  • A strong competency in supply chain operations, program or process management, and metric development and oversight.
