What you’ll be doing...

You will be the VPP M2M Resale expert to ensure successful / profitable partnerships to drive growth in connections and revenue. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of business development, strategy, partner identification, pursuit, onboarding, and ongoing support of partner solutions. You will also consult to develop partner product roadmap and build to the most relevant network infrastructure for scalable, long term relationships.

  • Building trusting relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Collaborating within the M2M / IoT eco-system to find qualified companies to partner with and monetize wireless connectivity solutions

  • Presenting to all types of audiences regarding the M2M, alternative channels and distribution

  • Work with internal Verizon teams to efficiently on-board qualified partners. (Open Development, Partnership Operations / Governance, Offer Development, Contract Management, Implementations, Legal, Risk Assessment and Sales Leadership)

  • Position will support Government Partner Accounts

You take a creative, fluid approach to nationalizing the partner program, being nimble to the ever-changing needs of the business.You enjoy managing complex negotiations of pricing and terms to ensure profitable, mutually beneficial relationships. You thrive on creating novel solutions to the complex business problems. When working through channel management or third party distribution models, you can identify or foresee potential risks to Verizon and develop strategies to overcome those risks to ensure protection and profitability for Verizon.

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Technical sales experience.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master’s degree.

  • In depth understanding of the VPP M2M Resale business process from operations to go to market strategies

  • Experience supporting or selling to Federal/Government accounts

  • Managed complex technical sales and demonstrated follow-through.

  • A track record of building a sales pipeline and meeting targets within a geographic territory.

  • Experience within the IoT / M2M eco-system from platform providers to module / OEM partners

  • Excellent speaking and writing skills to convey complex solutions to all types of audiences.
