What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a sales manager to play a key role in scaling and growing the Skyward sales organization. We’re looking for a results-oriented and driven team leader, who can balance strong strategic selling with excellent interpersonal and people management skills. This person is experienced at managing and executing enterprise SaaS solution sales in rapidly evolving industries.

This manager will inherit an existing high performing team and will be expected to lead, develop and hire additional team members. You must have experience managing people that sell face to face and in a team environment. You should thrive in ambiguity and change in a fast-growing company with rapid product innovation in a transforming industry. You will be based out of our HQ in Portland and report to the VP of Sales.

  • Build, develop, and manage a team of enterprise and mid-market sales people while fostering an environment for people to thrive
  • Consistently exceed revenue and company goals
  • Create, execute and refine the enterprise sales process
  • Manage overall enterprise pipeline and forecast accurately
  • Work collaborative cross-company to drive the overall business
  • Support team and represent Skyward in face to face meetings with customers, prospects and internally across Verizon

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of sales experience including managing an enterprise SaaS sales team driving new business
  • 3+ years of experience selling at a B2B SaaS company

Even better if you have

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster cross-collaboration, build team identity and winning culture
  • Excellent quantitative skills and the ability to create, analyze and manage sales and financial metrics
  • A roll up your sleeves, be in the details and get things done mentality
  • Ability to travel as needed
