What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) Program Management team is responsible for strategy and implementation of systems solutions that support ERP (Enterprise Resource Platform) and other system activity for Verizon Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, HR and Supply Chain. The CSG AP Senior Analyst is the interface between our Accounts Payable Stakeholders and internal and external technical resources performing work on Verizon ERPs.

The Senior Analyst role will be responsible for the following under the supervision of the Senior Manager:

  • Tracking, managing, testing, and reporting on production support defects and maintenance tickets across PeopleSoft 9.1, vSAP, nSAP, S/4HANA, and other systems utilizing tools such as FIM (Archer), AYS (At Your Service), and HPQC.
  • Assist with project management of Accounts Payable system projects impacting ERPs as assigned by the Senior Manager, including business requirement documentation, functional specification review, budget assessment, spend review, deliverable tracking, risk management, test planning, metric reporting, and cutover activities.
  • Support AP interface process by obtaining and documenting approvals, coordinating project and meeting schedules, testing interface connections to ERPs, and providing hypercare during production transition.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and system or process improvement projects to prevent recurring system issues.
  • Assist in training and communicating system/process changes to AP Stakeholders.
  • Provide FUT or UAT assistance on AP projects when requested by CSG or AP leadership.
  • Provide coverage and support for other CSG AP team members as needed on project and production support tasks.
  • Proactively communicate issues/escalations and statuses to Senior Manager.
  • Attending and participating in daily, weekly, or monthly meetings for involved AP sponsored, impacting, or interface projects and production support.
  • Preparing presentation materials as necessary for production support, interface, and project metrics.
  • Maintain an effective and positive relationship with our Global Technology Solutions technical partners, Accounts Payable stakeholders, and external support teams.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable systems and processes.
  • Experience creating presentations, managing spreadsheets, and working with cross-functional teams.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Business or technology or relevant field.
  • Direct experience in S/4HANA, PeopleSoft 9.1, vSAP, and/or nSAP.
  • Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams comprised of business and technical resources.
  • Experience working on a help desk.
  • Experience working on or leading IT based projects.
  • Ability to adapt to change while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
