What you’ll be doing...

You will explore what our people need to learn to be even better. Your programs and learning approaches will align with our business needs and be highly effective and in tune with our culture. You’ll design learning solutions that are engaging, fun and most importantly build those capabilities needed to enable our people to create the Verizon of the future. More specifically, you will use the latest tools and technologies to create communications for a wide variety of initiatives, ensuring employees in different channels/workgroups get the news and information they need to support our customers. Working closely with HQ marketing and product teams and learning experience design and delivery teammates, you will identify appropriate communication methods to reach frontline employees in consumer channels (Retail, Indirect, Telesales, Sales Chat, CS, etc.). You will craft concise messages with input and approval from stakeholders, and design creative assets for learning communication tools.

  • Collaborating with other L&D workgroups, GTM partners, product SMEs, and other stakeholders to develop the most effective communication vehicles and creative assets for sales and service employees at all levels.
  • Graphically designing creative assets for a variety of learning initiatives.
  • Deploying communication deliverables to large scale audiences, including: ecards, alerts, and graphics on SmartBoard, WorkJam, InfoManager and more.
  • Effectively managing multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Evaluating and measuring impact using any tracked communications tools and technologies for understanding utilization/readership.

This position can be located in any valid US Corporate Verizon location.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge in design and delivery of employee training.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Expertise in the use of Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, DreamWeaver and/or other professional media creation tools.
  • Responsive HTML email and web design experience.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training approaches.
  • Consulted with HR professionals and their business clients.
  • Managed projects effectively balancing timeliness and quality.
  • The ability adapt quickly to last minute changes and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to write concisely with the correct use of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Proven ability to create visually-appealing solutions.
