We are seeking an enthusiastic, inquisitive, and creative problem solver to conduct business analysis and in-depth data-based research. The Analyst will be a key member of the Commercial Research team focused on our Fleet Management and Field Service Management product lines. The Analyst will have the opportunity to directly impact the team’s growth and development.

The Analyst will report to the Principal Analyst of Commercial Research and will work closely with other key stakeholders to translate business challenges and needs to research initiatives that produce actionable results. The role requires the suitable candidate to execute research projects and analysis for SMB and Enterprise SaaS product lines.
Research objectives will be focused on informing strategic choices in product development, identifying opportunities to increase customer retention, customer acquisition, and average revenue per unit.


  • Analyzing performance through qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to generate data-driven insights by distilling and combining complex, disparate data sources.
  • Conduct targeted, project-based research and analysis across product performance and business operations to inform internal operations, strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Reviewing historical performance, identifying opportunities, delivering insights, and assessing the impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Contributing to executive presentations including building from scratch, adapting existing formats, clarifying requirements, updating and providing feedback.
  • Provide ongoing insight into trends & dynamics within our market as well as adjacent markets.

Common types of research projects include:

  • Qualitative & quantitative research – including sub-segmentation and deep dive analysis
  • Financial analysis, forecasting and modeling
  • Customer retention analysis
  • NPS analysis
  • Product usage studies in relation to new and existing feature sets
  • KPI reporting and analysis
  • Market & Competitive intelligence
  • Adjacent market landscapes
  • Win/loss interviews

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • One or more years of relevant experience in an analyst, research, business intelligence or related role.
  • Ability to interpret data, detects trends, and develop conclusions relative to the market.
  • Ability to process information quickly in deadline-driven and fast paced environments.

Even better if you have:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • SQL and Tableau experience.
