What you’ll be doing...

You will manage our Global Clearance team responsible for reviewing global service requests requiring global clearance, on behalf of Information Technology. You will oversee the review and recommended course of action on all IT global clearance requests from the inception of a project through completion of the clearance working directly with the application teams. You will also be responsible for leading a team to ensure compliance across IT for all clearance records and enable employee operations in Verizon India, and lead the effort underway to transform the Global Clearance Process.

You will be responsible for team that will be bringing all applications across Global Technology Services (GTS) into compliance according to Government and Sensitive Accounts Management (GSAM) standards. The team is responsible for end to end program management of all applications which includes initial assessments, scope, timelines, and implementation of technical solutions needed for GSAM compliance.

You will be responsible for the operations on-boarding of GTS applications and business functions for clearances and change requests (Firewall, access and exception request processing).

You will provide performance based coaching, mentoring and career path development/ opportunities to ensure performance targets are met across the organization. You will ensure the continual education and development of all personnel to effectively address competitive challenges, marketplace changes and customer expectations.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Information Technology or Information Security.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Working knowledge of the Global Clearance Process.
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing, motivating, coaching and developing a team of professional employees.
  • Project management experience including delivery of medium to large scale initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Solid technical, business and financial acumen
  • Solid negotiation, organization and project management skills.
