What you’ll be doing...

As a part of the Information Technology team, you’ll design and develop improvements to our customer care applications, like our Wireless Customer Communications platform. You’ll also work across the business to vet and deliver small to medium sized technology projects. The improvements that you recommend and implement will have a major impact on customer satisfaction, which will help improve our business and grow our customer base.

  • Collaborating with IT and business teams on projects.
  • Troubleshooting issues within customer care applications.
  • Supporting code and configuration updates.
  • Evaluating proposals to make sure they’re technically sound.
  • Supporting the implementation of upgrades and new applications.

Deliver across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support on IVR applications
Working on IVR development and middleware architecture with Avaya OD, Micro Services
Participate in application requirements for applications that the candidate would be working on
Should act independently, at the same time display excellent collaboration within and between various teams
Be accountable for the work allotted and stick to LOE provided. Track and develop tasks on time with no compromise to quality and keeping productivity of the team
Impact analysis and risk analysis processes to be followed in case of change requests
Ensure performance of the code developed as an ongoing basis and use the right tools for the same
Work closely with team to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the web technologies
Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
Ensure security validations during design and coding

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle phases, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Basic understanding of computing software, hardware and networking infrastructure.

Candidate should have 3-5 years of Avaya OD experience
Candidate should have 3-5 years of Java/J2EE experience
Candidate should be well versed with REST & SOAP Web Services technology
Experience in Cloud (AWS, Open Stack) and developing cloud native services
Experience in Micro Services Development
Messaging experience, using Websphere MQ, Rabbit MQ or Apache Kafka
Experience in Dev Ops Tool Chain (Git/Stash, JIRA, Confluence, Junit, JaCoCo, Sonar, Fortify, Jenkins) is needed
Experience in No SQL database - Cassandra
Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with IVR systems is a must
Experience with a high-performance, high-availability environment required
Experience with WebSphere/Tomcat preferred
