What you’ll be doing...

This Senior Analyst position is for the Visible line within Verizon's Consumer Wireless business. Visible is a start-up Pay in Advance On-line only wireless service. You will play a critical role in driving the business forward in this its early stages of existence. You’ll analyze trends and identify outliers that could signal a problem. Plus, you’ll come up with the best ways to share the data in dashboards, presentations, and written reports. You will be responsible for improving and developing new and enhanced reporting strategies for Visible in related to Fraud detection. You’ll also help identify potential noncompliance that could be harmful to the organization. By finding and identifying compliance issues, you’ll be an integral part of the compliance team’s success---keeping us in check in all ways that matter.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, modify alarms, and improve fraud detection capabilities.
  • Providing insights to leadership on fraud related issues impacting the business.
  • Finding anomalies and potential risks that may signal compliance issues.
  • Analyzing data and communicating insights and metrics with key stakeholders.
  • Implementing policy changes to improve the control environment.
  • Provide additional research and analysis for the monthly reporting, business plans including recommendations for management review.
  • Create draft of ad-hoc analysis generated for the business partners.
  • Partner with cross functional teams nationally to design systems enhancements and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Documenting business requirements and providing reports to management.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products including, Microsoft Excel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Finance, or relevant field.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Experience driving complex solutions and analytics to provide ongoing and automated monitoring key risks.
  • Experience with fraud related issues.
  • Knowledge with G-suite products.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience leveraging auditing principles and methods to evaluate policies, processes and systems to identify business risks and control gaps.
  • Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently leveraging organization and time management skills.
  • Managed projects and delivered results for multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in Compliance and Risk Management.
