What you’ll be doing...

This position is for a Senior Identity & Access Management expert and VB.Net / ASP.Net software developer. As part of the Network Security IAM team, you will be directly responsible for implementing new features, correcting defects, and providing third tier application support for critical IAM software supporting 12,000 users.

IAM Software Development & Enhancement

  • Work with IAM Architects and Business Analyst to improve and optimize the Quest One Identity Manager platform. Using functional and design requirements, implement IAM program’s components of Physical and Logical Access Control systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and assistance to development team to include direction and guidance when integrating new applications and providing fixes.
  • Ensure that contractors and Tier 2 organization follow change control procedures.
  • Create MOPS for internally engineered changes.
  • Engineering review of MOPS from vendors and other teams.
  • Design, develop and implement connectors and technical components for authentication, authorization, identity provisioning, physical security, and audit & monitoring solutions to provide day one on boarding, off boarding for business enablement, operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Application Support

  • Provide Tier 3 application support to NSS Operations staff support for when issues exceed Tier 2’s technical capabilities to resolve issues on IAM platforms.
  • Work with Support team to address system issues or end user provisioning issues.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide Technical Training and Assistance to junior team members.
  • Build, update, and maintain technical training documentation for Quest One Identity Manager.
  • Deliver periodic technical training to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Guide junior software developers through the completion of Quest One Identity Manager development tasks.

Upgrade and Patch Management

  • Work with release manager and other stakeholders to drive compliance with SDLC processes.
  • Validation of patching and changes in lower environments prior to production patching.
  • Apply patches for application components on production systems.

Vendor Management

  • Work with vendors to ensure the proper development of IAM Architect designs.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience specifically working with and developing for Quest One Identity Manager.
  • CISSP certification.
  • Five or more years of experience with programming languages (e.g., C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java).
  • Five or more years of experience with scripting languages (e.g., VB, JavaScript).
  • Three or more years of experience in integrating security and IAM products with common identity stores (e.g., LDAP, relational databases, application servers, virtual directory servers, physical access management systems).
  • Three or more years of working with LDAP and directory structures.
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Hands-on software development experience with Single Sign-on (Siteminder) and federated access technologies (e.g., SOAP, SAML, RSA).
  • Experience in role base analysis and designing/implementing roles based access solutions.
  • Experience working as a development team lead.
  • Excellent debugging skills working with complex systems.
  • Experience with markup languages (e.g., XML, XHTML) as well as working with web services.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008R2/2012/2016.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical resources and executive leadership.
  • Ability to research new techniques and technologies that yield cost-effective results.
  • Advanced problem solving to help audited groups to find necessary solutions to bring them into compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines and ability to prioritize and organize.
  • Well-developed organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • Current or past work experience with a mobile carrier.
