What you’ll be doing...

We have an immediate need for a Senior Safety & Security Product Manager to join our Product Development team. This role will help facilitate developing and supporting safety and security solutions for our broad telematics offerings in both the consumer and commercial fields. This position would be located in our Atlanta, GA office.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will work closely with multiple groups--Engineering, Legal, Operations, Care and Product--to build and support best in class safety solutions and product enhancements. The role will also work closely with Legal and Compliance to adhere to the highest product safety standards in the United States, the European Union, and other countries where we provide telematics services.

The ideal person should have both a strong engineering background and also a familiarity with quality assurance and product regulatory compliance.

The Safety & Security Senior Manager will also be responsible for

  • Understand technical ideas and high-level concepts, propose solutions to internal and external team members with an eye on safety and security aspects of product performance.
  • Manage device performance trend analysis for potential safety and security concerns.
  • Implement systems to monitor and measure device performance trends.
  • Assist with process improvement and quality control enhancements to improve field engineering investigations and ensure the end product meets customer requirements.
  • Serve as liaison with external resources, government agencies, and/or vehicle makers regarding product development.
  • Develop best practices in building world class solutions.

What we’re looking for...

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Ten or more years of relevant work experience in development
  • Five or more years in product management
  • Analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with Strategic developments and Implementation
  • Experience in data analysis, including experience creating executive level reports to company stakeholders
  • Experience building and strengthening relationships across functions to drive high levels of quality through cohesive, strategic, and proper tests and testing.
  • Experience with automotive controllers, systems and network architecture.
  • Ability to implement reporting means for monitoring product performance.
  • Flexibility to adapt into a fast paced environment and deliver with best results.
  • Experience working with government agencies and local regulations.
