What you’ll be doing...

Incumbent acts as the primary point of contact for assigned multi-tenant (MTU) portfolios within the region. He/she is responsible for revenue maximization at the property and portfolio level, by1) working directly with MTU management to ensure implementation and support of the program at each assigned property 2) increasing subscriber growth by launching the marketing program at MTU properties, training property staff as appropriate, and building and maintaining strategic relationships, and 3) managing property/portfolio specific issues. Incumbent will coordinate with VEC Project Management to ensure care and attention to network deployment and service availability, and with National Marketing to provide an additional on-site presence as appropriate.

Incumbent should espouse Verizon core values and principles, maintain and expand company and industry knowledge base, focus on Verizon customers (Owners/Developers and end users), assure quality, and exercise creativity and innovation. Moreover, the incumbent is expected to take personal accountability, and drive overall profitability results.

Overall responsibilities include/incumbent is expected to:

  • 60% - Effectively manage all assigned portfolios. Plan and manage new property rollout process. Ensure effective account transition from business development team. Work with Project Management to coordinate roles and responsibilities with VEC and VZ resources to ensure service activation and delivery timelines are met. Generate all necessary reports for assigned portfolios.

  • Work directly with on-site property management and staff to promote subscriber growth, including launching of properties, initial and refresher training of staff, coordination of on-site marketing messages as well as tactics (both new and existing customer events, door hanging etc.) and promotion efforts, use of program resources including demonstration systems, kiosks, etc.

  • Increase subscriber growth by developing and maintaining relationships and garnering sales through regular and effective contacts with owners, developers, and regional support.
  • Travel to property sites within the area required (approximately 70% of time in field working business relationships and sales leads.)

  • Assess property/portfolio performance on a regular basis. Identify best practices and communicate these to underperforming properties/portfolios. Required ownership of MTU modules assigned to meet all (individual and NEA MTU team) sales GATB, NATB and disconnect targets.
  • Manages and coordinates with Alternate Channel Management team leads or Managers (ACD Resources to include D2D, and other MTU sales partners. Responsible for revenue maximization at the subscribed property and portfolio level, by (1) working directly and indirectly with the ACD Team leads to drive awareness and penetration of MTUs using alternate channel resources with multi-tenant unit management to ensure implementation and support of the contracted program(s) at each assigned property; (2) managing property/portfolio specific issues including but not limited to contract administration and owner compensation.

Manage day-to-day activities in conjunction or through appropriate Alternate Channel Managers or their proxies, including:

  • Identification of properties to deploy ACD resources
  • Coordination and deployment of ACD resources, via the Verizon ACD Mgr Teams
  • Trouble resolution/remediation as a result of deployment
  • Coordinate efforts and ensure activities are congruent with peer VEC workgroups including the collaboration with MDU teams and Vendor/Partners
  • Handle and/or escalate customer problem resolution
  • Able to implement new processes, combining manual and automated systems, including ACD resource platforms like AMDB/VSS

  • 25% -
    • Works with National and Regional marketing support teams to analyze competitive trends and to develop compelling offers for business customers to acquire, maintain, or disrupt market dynamics
    • Analyzes trends in key products across channels – Lines, FiOS, and H.S.I and establishes Get Well plans to improve sales execution across all channels
    • Develops marketing plans to grow billed revenue, assisting with Go To Market and Go To Channel execution
    • Leads and directs grassroots vendor support resources with in all local marketing efforts to generate brand awareness and sales.
    • Analyzes disconnects within modules/properties and manage programs to stem our losses. retention offers and rationalizes them to gain the most retentive benefit while balancing against cost per offer
    • Works collaboratively across Sales, Alternative Channels, VEC, and Operations to maximize Fios penetration and to decrease disconnects in vintage and new buildings via pre sales and marketing activities/tactics
    • Works with National team to review and approve Marketing materials and to drive consistently good marketing call volumes and direct customer interaction into all channels
  • 15% - Direct FiOS small business build in multi-tenant (MTU) and single-business (SBU) properties through identification, research and selection of targeted properties for Engineering & VEC to pursue.
