What you’ll be doing...

This position is in Pricing and Contract Management's (PCM) Business Intelligence team is responsible for conducting detailed analysis and reporting on multiple dimensions of custom pricing including rate analytics, profitability, revenue, write-down/acquisition, win/loss performance, segmentation/differentiation analysis, product mix analysis, post-sale revenue realization. In addition this position has process and tools responsibility from a reporting aspect to the entire PCM organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze detail rate activity and trends and provide actionable conclusions and insight on analysis to multiple stakeholders.
  • Review & verification of data and reports for accuracy.
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly reports on deal status and financials for all deals priced by PCM worldwide from various systems including SFDC, CBSCNE and vPrice (Legacy and VRD activity).
  • Produce timely and accurate weekly report on large deals ($25M+) status and financials for review by Senior Management.
  • Produce monthly Deal Life Cycle Management (DLM) Dashboard metrics for presentation to DLM Steering Committee.
  • Perform audits of the data in the reports to ensure quality of the information.
  • Participate in developing criteria for selecting and enhancing data gathering and analytic and reporting tools and techniques.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.

This position can be located in any valid US Verizon location.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years of data science/analysis experience.
  • Strong in Excel & GSheet spreadsheet reporting skills (pivot tables,vLookups).
  • Knowledge of SQL 2016.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, SFDC & Tableau.
  • Experience and knowledgeof pricing and contracting practices and systems.
  • Internal Resource Coordination.
