What you’ll be doing...

Seeking an experienced Release Manager to establish release standards for Verizon’s ServiceNow instances. This individual will coordinate the readiness of the weekly releases, ensure the completeness of each release and perform communications to multiple stakeholders

Job Duties

  • Define standard release processes around major and minor release cycles
  • Work with SCRUM masters to determine their sprint readiness for releases
  • Work with product owners to ensure non-development requirements for releases are in place
  • Work with platform operations teams to ensure acceptance of release items
  • Maintain release radar for upcoming release cycles
  • Understand work in pipeline to identify potential dependencies and conflicts for release cycles
  • Communicate to platform stakeholders of upcoming release windows and post deployment activities
  • Convert information in technical stories into end user understandable release notes
  • Report on the effectiveness of the release process

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • ITIL experience and/or certification
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience with managing enterprise level releases across multiple times, with preference using ServiceNow.
  • Written and oral communication skills
