What you’ll be doing...

As Verizon’s Demand Generation Manager you’ll be an essential member of the team responsible for owning the strategy and execution of customer acquisition programs. In addition to optimizing current campaigns, you will have the freedom - and the expectation - to explore new channels and tactics to push Verizon’s growth initiatives to new levels, working closely with product, marketing sciences, and sales to bring new growth ideas to life. And when those experiments are run, and the tests are complete, you’ll be able to present key metrics that show real learnings and help guide real decisions for the company. This role combines a highly visible position within the Verizon Business Group with working behind the scenes to accomplish goals and set strategy. As the Demand Generation Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Leading the development of demand generation marketing strategies and campaigns based on both buyer and business needs in conjunction with Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Partner and Sales Teams.
  • Collaborating with Field Sales and Inside Sales to ensure lead management processes are followed in a timely fashion so leads are optimized for conversion to pipeline opportunities.
  • Defining and analyzing key metrics that will define the success of both campaigns and new products that the campaigns are built around.
  • Making recommendations based on data in order to maximize effort and budget.
  • Planning and executing new growth opportunities through both traditional UA channels like FB and AdWords and new, untested ones.
  • Leading the ideation and execution of new ideas, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, product managers, sales, customer success, and marketing.
  • Using strong quantitative skills to fully understand the wins and losses, identify key levers, and be able to separate the signals from the noise, in order to best present findings to the team. These findings will help guide product roadmaps, and marketing initiatives, and will be hugely important to both the business and our customers.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape of products and Verizon's position to it.
  • Driving multiple projects from strategy to execution in a fast-paced environment in an organized way.
