What you’ll be doing...

With our largest client organizations’ intellectual property, networks, employee data, and corporate brand under constant attack, it’s a good thing our Managed Security Services team is there to protect them. As a Security Service Advisor, you’ll be the single point and advocate for Security Services delivered to our customers. You’ll also make recommendations to help clients reduce their risk, balancing your security proposals against their potential business impact. The security environment is becoming more complex every day - come help us keep our clients one step ahead of the bad guys.

You’ll also make recommendations to help clients reduce their risk by consulting with customers on current security incidents and complex and unique cyber threats to develop effective plans to mitigate risk. You participate in customer projects that have security requirements as a content expert as well as participate in internal kick-off meeting and client kick off meeting for new engagements. You ensure effective communication with clients through reports and status calls to discuss the current threat landscape and action plans to prioritize and reduce risks.

As a Security Services Advisor, you are second to none—you have the maturity and experience to represent our clients and they would see you as a trusted advisor with unparalleled expertise and integrity. You like being abreast of and provide information on upcoming feature releases, product changes and enhancements to the client and assist the client in making use of and taking advantage of all features of the service. You are skilled at identifying, developing and managing service improvement plans (SIP) when service is not meeting client expectations and SLA’s.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Degree and or equivalent in years of experience.
  • Experience with service delivery and/or client facing operational function
  • Extensive knowledge about Managed Security Services and or Cyber Security landscape
  • Understand ITIL, service management and quality management practices
  • Training/certification or college certificate in Quality Management (ITIL, Six Sigma, TQM, etc.)

Even better if you have:

  • Industry Certifications such as Prince 2, CISSP, CISM and or other Security Vender certification
  • Possess the necessary skills (presentation), behaviors (communication & work ethic), and traits to be successful as a Dedicated Client Service Manager.
  • Works well in team environment and as a sole contributor – a self-starter who does not need daily direction.
  • Experience in Project management of networking and/or network security implementation, operations or engineering projects.
  • Previous experience in an operations, engineering or other technical role within the networking, network security, IT and/or telecommunications field, particularly in a client facing role.
  • Must be able to manage crisis situations with the customer and set customer expectations with applicable.
  • Ability to travel as required – Travel demand will/can include external functions including visits to Customers, Sales offices, industry events.
  • Other Language skills are a plus, and may be required for some contracts
