What you’ll be doing...

Responsible for leading a cross functional team accountable for end-to-end Revenue Assurance activity related to Verizon's Wireless Wholesale business channel.  These responsibilities include assessing Verizon's ability to support new contractual pricing and programs, rate implementation and changes, pricing audits, usage trending, usage alarm monitoring, error prevention, pre-bill validation and certification, and approval of other charges and credits that may occur outside of the systematic bill cycle.  To effectively perform these functions you must collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, Wholesale Operations, Sales, Contract Management, Legal, IT, and Network to identify and quickly resolve all financial compliance and reporting issues, control gaps, financial risks, and help develop technical resolutions.

Provide business requirements for all new or modified contracts.  Make recommendations to support Finance and Revenue Assurance objectives including utilizing RPA and other digital tools to stream processes.  Work directly with and leverage peer revenue assurance teams across Verizon to establish consistent and efficient business process efficiencies.

Define key performance indicators for the organization and measure performance against those goals, provide monthly updates to leadership on key initiatives and performance, ensure strategic efforts impacting the business channel are successfully supported, drive performance through effective communications, and successfully manage a team of employees through feedback and recognition.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree orfive or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with contracts and billing/ERP.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical abilities with advanced knowledge of database query tools and use of macros.

Even better if you have:

  • Strong organization, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills with proven leadership experience.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, supporting multiple assignments with strong attention to detail with the ability to do with minimal supervision being self-motivated and highly adaptable to change.
