What you’ll be doing...

The Third Party Vendor (TPV) Manager is responsible for Verizon negotiatedSupplier relationships supporting proposed solutions to clients, including customer specific vendors. TheSupplier Manager will also oversee existing customer third-party vendor contracts.

You’ll also be responsible for the following activities:

  • Organising, scheduling and supervising data gathering activities.
  • Tracking ongoing delivery of service with Verizon third-party vendor and client partners.
  • Acting as a point of escalation for trouble ticket resolution and for third-party vendor service problems as necessary.
  • Intervening with third-party vendor management to escalate service failures.
  • Developing monthly reports of third-party vendor service using data provided.
  • Reviewing third-party vendor monthly invoices, verifying and approving them for payment.
  • Influence continuous improvement of third-party vendor services.
  • Facilitate vendor contract renewals where necessary, engaging contract management, sourcing and legal departments as necessary
  • Coordinating TPV activities within the bid team during the program lifecycle
  • Ensuring agreements are finalized with the Third Party Vendors and implemented
  • Providing vendor information required to align the Third Party Vendor processes with Verizon ordering, billing, delivery and invoicing processes
  • Conducting vendor reviews with all Program Stakeholders
  • Defining and implementing optimisation scenarios for TPVs, in order to reduce overall costs of programs and service delivery
  • Assisting the sales team in identifying potential new revenue opportunities
  • Ensuring smooth transition of TPVs from closure of sale to implementation
  • Working with the finance department to ensure funding is allocated to provide appropriate support of TPVs
  • Compiling, tracking and forecasting TPV expenditure within assigned program
  • Drafting, agreeing and implementing optimisation scenarios for services provided by vendors in order to reduce overall cash out.
  • Ensuring the supporting maintenance and support contracts are in place for all non-standard contracts.
  • Compiling, tracking and managing TPV budgets for non-standard suppliers.

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent level of work experience

  • Relevant work experience in a sourcing or supplier management related role.

  • Experience of working within transformation programmes

  • Experiencein managing third party vendors from pre-sale through to contract

  • Experience in supplier governance

  • Involvement in financial management/tracking

    Even better if you have:

  • A Masters degree

  • Contract change management experience
