What you’ll be doing...

You’ll gain exposure to the diverse aspects of our business through collaborating with different business leaders related to our technology controls, processes, and systems. The work you perform is critical to reducing risk and providing solutions that protect our company, our employees and our shareholders.

As our Technology Audit Manager, you will lead integrated audit engagements, as well as execute complex technical audits and consulting engagements requiring experience in emerging technologies such as cloud, software development, and mobile computing. You are responsible for planning, supervising and completing comprehensive and complex risk-based audits, within time and expense budgets. Critical role in executing and managing projects, coaching staff, conducting training, and assisting daily assignments.

  • Cultivates relationships with key executive leaders.
  • Maintains regular communications with audit contacts to confirm the timing and scope of audit efforts throughout the audit calendar year.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Manages milestones for ongoing projects and proactively communicates delays.
  • Supervises staff, attends process meetings to ensure that procedures performed address the relevant risk areas and performs manager quality review of audit work papers.
  • Verifies that observations are appropriately vetted at the right level and performs a preliminary review of action plans to validate that they address the risk and will be completed within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Supports multiple integrated audit teams and works collaboratively to manage financial and operational business risks.
  • Executes testing of complex IT controls and emerging technology risk areas, including encryption, privacy, and cloud security.
  • Keeps the Technology Senior Manager apprised of significant scope changes, milestone delays, performance issues, and/or opportunities to gain efficiencies.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant audit or information systems experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management.
  • Professional Certification such as CISA, CISSP, CPA or other relevant certification.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Experience with any of the following products or tools: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, Microsoft .NET framework, Microsoft Access, SQL, Microsoft Exchange, ACL, Idea, Hyperion, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, or system administration experience in MVS, Microsoft, or Linux/Unix.
  • Experience in a Big 4 or equivalent environment developing and executing technology-based audits and IT and application control assessments during complex business process reviews.
  • Experience with a wide range of computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of different businesses to be able to evaluate and assess the significance of problems identified during the course of an audit.
  • Experience developing action plans and communicating concise recommendations to management.
  • Experience performing information security assessments.
  • Management skills including direct supervision and development of subordinates.
  • Ability to identify and categorize risks associated with new technology, learn technology functions being audited and evaluate the effectiveness of controls.
  • Participation in departmental initiatives to further develop the Internal Audit function, including recruitment, training, and career progression.
