What you’ll be doing...

As a Business Intelligence Manager within the Marketing Technology (Martech) Management team, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, modeling, managing and reporting on marketing platform investment to evaluate success, measure ROI, along with overall management of team budgets. The ideal candidate will collaborate across various organizations to deliver a cost-effective marketing analytics strategy to meet the business strategy.

You will:

  • Be part of the Martech team to build, lead and manage comprehensive analyses on marketing platform investments to enable next-gen technology foundation and analytics capabilities aligned with Martech strategy.
  • Work closely with vendors, IT, FP&A and marketing teams to develop financial models and establish metrics to measure ROI on the investment of the new Martech platforms.
  • Perform detailed financial and operational analyses; develop comprehensive pro forma financial models and valuation analysis in support of Martech platform rollout planning and strategic business cases; determine resource availability to execute on proposed initiatives.
  • Work closely with Martech team to conduct due diligence to build statistical and cost benefit analyses, feasibility and needs assessment studies, and recommend cost-effective strategy and implementation for assigned projects.
  • Manage and track overall capital and operating expenses for the Martech Management team.
  • Manage and review budget proposals, funding requests and submit budget recommendations for approval.
  • Manage and maintain all vendor relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters.
  • Perform cost benefit analyses on contract consolidation, volume discounts, and other contract-related costs.
  • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate and if necessary by working with Verizon legal team.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information systems, analytics/business intelligence, engineering, mathematics, statistics, other related discipline or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • A degree.
  • Leadership and strategic planning experience.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Ability to excel at both strategic planning and execution levels.
  • Business case development experience.
  • Capital and operating expense and/or budget management experience.
  • Experience with developing and tracking key financial and other relevant KPIs to ensure program success.
  • Knowledge and experience with analytical tools (Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
