What you’ll be doing...

  • Leads all financial controls for the $11B annual revenue produced by Wholesale Wireless. These efforts include working with the management teams from Internal Audit, Compliance/Risk Management and SOX Compliance.
  • Documents and reviews key and non-key controls with all levels of management on an annual basis; performs SOX testing on key internal controls; manages Delegations of Authority, coordinate with Compliance for guidance on unique transactions, and maintains DTP's/VZ Knowledge for the organization.
  • This position acts as a liaison between Internal Audit, External Auditors, General Counsel, Sales, IT developers, and across key Finance organizations across Bill-to-Cash. Corporate compliance guidelines, with an emphasis of SOX regulations, are consulted in order to complete the objectives of this position
  • This position will document process flows, support internal and external audit walk-through’s, and submit evidence for internal and external auditors and address any potential findings or gaps.
  • Manages Wireless Reseller Letter of Credit collateral and receivables across $3B of annual revenue. This includes negotiation, contract language drafting/approval and assurance of contractual adherence to Letter of Credit requirements.
  • Supports and consults on other area projects focused on reducing departmental expense via process improvements, reduction of delinquent A/R and improving cash flow, reviews the effectiveness of current internal controls, and manages IT projects addressing control gaps and inefficiencies within the organization.
  • Leads work-out sessions to address workflow challenges and control gap issues across the channel.
  • Initiates, consults and drives implementation of projects and process changes within the organization in regards to control gaps and inefficient processes.
  • For the Wholesale Wireless Reseller channel, this position will determine, negotiate and implement securitization requirements for new and existing customers, as well as managing collections on Wholesale (~$3 billion annually), analyzes and initiates internal controls for finance functions.
  • Works independently with minimal to no supervision, manages own time, and maintains control over all projects and responsibilities. Executive escalations are managed directly with key stakeholders while assuring finance management is aware of the actions being taken to resolve.

What we’re looking for...

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar required.
  • 2+ years Audit experience (Internal/External/Compliance).
  • 2+ years Agile workflow experience preferred.
  • 2+ years Project Management experience, including experience with cross-functional projects.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills are required for this position.
