The Installation Coordinator is responsible for working closely with our customers to ensure timely and accurate hardware installation for both new and existing customers. You will work with our sales team and manage our vendors who are responsible for the installation of tracking and telemetry devices in our customers' fleet vehicles and assets. You will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing the installation of the products, ensuring compliance of the installations to contract specifications, and established policies and procedures as well as ensuring the installations are on-time and complete, adhering to the installation schedule and quality guidelines. Other responsibilities include:

  • Owning all escalations from Channel Partners, Customer Success and Sales.
  • Establishing and managing customer expectations and adapting and prioritizing customer needs and requests.
  • Negotiating installation pricing.
  • Partnering with Sales on any deals that are not moving to complete installation.
  • Identifying installer (i.e., Field Technician or subcontractor) to coordinate install with customer’s schedule.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Two or more years of experience in a professional services environment in a technical or project management capacity.
  • Ability to select, train, and coach a team of installers and installation coordinators.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with internal team members to deliver on assigned projects.
  • Ability to access and breakdown complex situations to scalable mini-projects to meet resolve in a timely manner.
  • Knwledge of the installation processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge on internal systems.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations with customers, vendors, and/or processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
