What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a self-motivated individual to assist in managing and optimizing our IoT services. Your role will consist of collaboration with various technology and business teams to manage initiatives and projects to define, develop and implement work products and processes to effectively manage IoT services end-to-end and contribute to a positive customer experience. Heavy focus on improving efficiency through self-service, automation and orchestration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify solutions and create plans to address IoT service management challenges and optimize the customer experience.
  • Track and drive plans to improve and continuously optimize IoT service.
  • Define and lead opportunities for self-serve and automation to increase efficiency, decrease costs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with budget tracking and reporting.

You are a results driven professional with a broad technical and business background focused on leveraging technology to enable innovation, efficiency, and business growth through digital transformation. An expert at managing diverse project teams by providing objective clarity, removing barriers, and using creativity to make decisions and achieve goals. Experience in managing multiple medium to large projects at once and are comfortable with collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and leaders across the organization.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ten or more years of experiences in Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure platforms, in-depth experience leading both functional and technical teams across various service delivery models, including matrix organizations (virtual and onsite).
  • Additional experiences in ITIL framework and business transformation.
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills - ability to think outside the box.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) business and use cases. Experience with IoT provisioning and application flows.
  • Experience in delivering roadmaps and optimizing service delivery by continually assessing operations, applications, policies, processes and compliance frameworks.
  • In-depth project management experiences in supporting mission critical IoT applications, systems and platforms.
  • Experience with managing high-availability (99.999% uptime) SLAs.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks in a challenging environment.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Capability to perform duties independently, and lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Experience in managing vendors and strategic partners.
  • Budget management experience.
