What you’ll be doing...

You will help define, design and facilitate the development of solutions utilizing 5G and associated technologies and tools. You will also seek to build deep, consultative technical relationships with your customers, effectively becoming a trusted adviser. A DA is ideally positioned to understand the customer's high-level objectives and match these to Verizon solutions in order to satisfy business and technical requirements.

  • Integral part of a team to identify and qualify business opportunities and develop the strategy to resolve technical matters.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.
  • Own the technical relationship with Verizon customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources. Work directly with customers to create solutions and use cases that leverage Verizon product integrations that generate business value.
  • Articulate the Verizon Enterprise vision on technologies and solutions towards the Client; positions Verizon Enterprise as thought leader on key technological developments.
  • Lead prioritization of Customer solution / technical requirements and champions resolution of solution / product gaps internally (also towards Product Groups).
  • Develop individual skill set and expand product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our clients. This includes attaining designated certification requirements and attending product-specific training, reviewing technical literature, and obtaining hands-on experience.
  • Travel to Client sites, conferences, and other related events as required.

You’ll bring together cross-functional teams across geographic regions to work together to implement programs to make us deliver even better solutions and service to our customers.

  • Identifying global resource requirements and pulling in the right people.
  • Developing, reviewing, and continuously improving processes.
  • Monitoring project progress, anticipating and reducing risk.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Managed large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in project management or related discipline.
  • Managed projects with PMI or MSP methodologies.
  • Certification in PMP and/or MSP.
  • Practical knowledge of PPM tools.
  • Motivated and influenced teams to deliver outcomes and results.
  • Six or more years of experience in the tech industry with experience in pre-sales, customer-facing consulting or other relevant technical experience.
  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Experience and knowledge about Verizon 4G network, and familiarity with concepts of 5G technology
  • Experience architecting and developing LAN/WAN or large infrastructure and network solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Experience with networking concepts including: software defined networking, virtual network services, routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Experience in and knowledge of data and information security - especially as it relates to issues within businesses.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
  • Gathered industry knowledge and experience of different vendors’ technologies in two or more of the following areas: 5G, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization, IT infrastructure and systems security, cloud or network systems management, and business continuity.
