What you’ll be doing...

  • Program management for various technical events/community engagement activities hosted internally and externally.
  • Configuring overall program plan needs through partnership with multiple stakeholders.
  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors (e.g., Sourcing, Admin) for flawless execution.
  • Developing detailed projects plans and tracking progress against plan.
  • Working with various business units to ensure sufficient participation.
  • Working with the Communications team to devise socialization plan.
  • Taking care of necessary logistics related to events.
  • Engaging directly with the engineering and portfolio communities to solicit feedback and offer guidance for programs/events.
  • Interfacing with clients, technical teams, and executives to plan, track, and oversee community engagement events from inception through implementation.
  • Assuming full ownership and driving programs/events independently.
  • Constantly monitoring what works and what doesn’t while deriving ideas to help increase participation rates when necessary.
  • Representing the organization and talking to various industry stakeholders about external event participation.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience with Google Suite productivity and connection tools (e.g., Gmail, Hangouts/Meet, Drive, Slides, Docs, Sheet).
  • Experience Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated history of program management success, both in terms of results achieved and application of professional methodology.
  • Comfort with rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
  • The ability to work effectively and independently with little motivation from direct leadership.
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain awareness of and accurately following up on all issues.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A history of effective decision making skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to effectively interact with senior-level management.
  • The ability to work with and maintain the security of highly confidential information.
