What you’ll be doing...

We are growing! This is a new position on the Wireless Wholesale Revenue Assurance team with the opportunity to be a critical part of the Enterprise & Wholesale Bill to Cash group that owns the design, development, implementation and validation of Revenue Assurance audits and tools for Wireless Wholesale revenue stream. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to effectively perform complex controls/audits in contract & rate management, switch to bill, prebill, usage trending, other charges/credits validation, root cause analysis and quantification, reporting, issue resolutions and strategic projects.

  • Work across Product Marketing and Contract Management teams supporting Wireless Wholesale, VES- Telematics and LTE in Rural America to define product offerings, review pre-executed contracts, implement product rates post contract execution and ensure the accuracy of all reference data.
  • Work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders to validate revenue trending bill cycle audit points and approve/release monthly bill cycles for wireless wholesale, VES-Telematics and LTE for Rural America bill cycles.
  • Coordinate switch to bill/ network element to bill reconciliations plus root cause analysis and monitor usage trending for various network type usage and reseller accounts.
  • Own the process for validating and approving other charges and credits and satisfy CPS 103 requirements.
  • Staff, manage and develop direct reports per Verizon practices.
  • Manage employee performance in a timely and consistent fashion per company policies.
  • Motivate, mentor, train and advise team members on the importance of the revenue
    assurance practice to the organization and ensure individual development plans are built and executed to achieve a productive team.
  • Ensure people resources are appropriately aligned to assigned projects and responsibilities based on skills and performance.
  • Partner with other leaders and subject matter experts on other revenue assurance teams to provide support and cross train people resources.
  • Ensure work environment is compliant to corporate code of conduct guidelines including safety, civil treatment of others, and privacy of customer information.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, information technology, engineering or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry rating and billing.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA or professional certifications preferred (CISA, CISM).
  • Knowledge of business bill to cash objectives and be creative enough to help define what we build with exceptional technical skills and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to manage the large degree of external interaction with partners the role needs.
  • Passionate about process efficiency.
  • Ability to take ownership and is accountable for quality of all deliverables.
  • Ability to lead/supervise multiple highly technical projects, also performs project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuration, resources and scheduling.
